Robin Sax to Speak at The First Step Forward graduation

Robin Sax, former LA County Deputy District Attorney and victims’ advocate will be the featured speaker at The First Step Forward graduation ceremony on June 28, 2012 at Amanecer Community Counseling Services.

For more than 15 years in the District Attorney’s office, Ms. Sax prosecuted hundreds of felony crimes including homicides, stalking, domestic violence, child sexual assault, and gang crimes. Now in private practice, Ms. Sax’s law firm specializes in child sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and child abuse cases.

Ms. Sax is a regularly featured legal analyst for CNN, HLN, Fox News, and MSNBC, and provides commentary on high profile legal and celebrity cases for national news programs including Good Morning America and Today. She is the author of six books, including Predators and Child Molesters: What Every Parent Needs to Know to Keep Kids Safe and the forthcoming It Happens Every Day: Inside the World of a Sex Crimes D.A. Her powerful insights have been featured in The Huffington Post, Psychology Today, People Magazine, The New York Times, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and The Los Angeles Times.

Ms. Sax is a lecturer at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and Attorney Assistant Training Program, and an adjunct professor at the California State, Los Angeles, School of Criminal Justice.
