Amanecer Statement on the Administration’s Border Policy

border crisis

Separating children from their parents, while the family is legally applying for asylum in the United States, is heartless and unacceptable. Ripping families apart will cause life-long trauma for the parents and children subjected to such cruelty.

Families are the foundation of our society. Children should be protected; not used as pawns in this unseemly political spectacle. Amanecer implores the American people to demand an end to the irreparable harm caused by a reckless policy that panders to fear and prejudice.
