ACCS is not currently taking undergraduate interns for field practicum. Graduate Internships (MSW/MFT/APCC)
ACCS works with local universities to provide interns and trainees the opportunity to learn on the job. We have established MOUs with local universities for trainees and interns obtaining their Masters in Social Work (MSW), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT trainees), and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC intern) degrees.
Services provided by trainees and interns include work with our outpatient and stepped care programs for both children and adults, providing individual, family and/or group counseling services. If interested in placement with ACCS, please submit a resume and cover letter to our Clinical Training Manager, Janet Garcia.
Our usual cycles to interview candidates for the upcoming year take place between February-June for the next academic cycle. Please check with your universities administration to confirm if they have a current affiliation agreement with our agency.
At the moment, we are unable to take on additional interns and have temporarily halted interviews for candidates seeking Winter and Spring placements. This may change over the course of the year based on programmatic need, so please make sure to check out our website for any changes in information to our student intern program.
